Turin's "Juventus" head coach Luciano Spalletti shared his views on Canadian striker Jonathan David, emphasizing the need for consistent performance from the player.
"Does he need to play 4–5 consecutive games to prove his worth? He must show his abilities in every training session.
I will give him 10 minutes of playing time. If he performs successfully, I will give him 45 minutes next time, and it will continue like that.
It cannot work with one good performance in one session and a poor one in the next. I need consistency.
Make sure to write this down clearly," said Spalletti in an interview with journalist Nicolo Schira. The 25-year-old Jonathan David has played 19 matches across all competitions this season, scoring two goals and providing one assist.
