Roma begins negotiations to transfer Joshua Zirkzee

Manchester United's 24-year-old central striker Joshua Zirkzee may continue his career with Italy’s Serie A club Roma. Sky Sport Italy has reported this.

According to the source, Roma has started negotiations to sign the Dutch footballer. However, as reported by Gazetta dello Sport, the Rome-based club plans to finalize the signing of Zirkzee only after completing the loan deal of Brighton striker Evan Ferguson.

The 21-year-old Irishman Ferguson has scored one goal and provided one assist in 14 matches for Roma this season. It should be noted that Zirkzee has only scored one goal in his 9 appearances for Manchester United.

According to Transfermarkt, Zirkzee's transfer value is estimated at 25 million euros.
