New information has emerged regarding the contract status of 37-year-old seasoned forward Karim Benzema, currently playing for Saudi Arabian team “Al Ittihad.” According to Footmercato, although his current contract with the club is valid until June 2026, there is currently no clarity regarding an extension.
Sources have emphasized that rumors about a potential contract extension for Benzema are unfounded — the player has not yet received an official offer from the club. Nevertheless, interest in his future is growing not only in Saudi Arabia but also across Europe.
The French forward has maintained high performance levels this season, scoring a total of 11 goals in 12 matches across all competitions. Following the end of his tenure with “Real Madrid” in 2023, Benzema joined “Al Ittihad” as a free agent and quickly established himself as a leading figure in the team’s attack.
According to Transfermarkt, the current market value of the forward is estimated at 7 million euros. Despite his age, this figure is reflective of both his high demand and his considerable experience.
