The AC Milan club is reportedly planning to bring back former Inter striker Mauro Icardi to its squad. The Argentine player, who is currently playing for Istanbul's Galatasaray, may return to the Italian championship.
Journalist Matteo Moretto revealed this on social media. According to the insider, AC Milan has expressed interest in Icardi's services as part of its effort to strengthen the attacking line.
The move is reportedly driven by the performance of the team's current striker, Santiago Giménez, who has failed to meet expectations. Despite featuring in nine matches this season, Giménez has not scored a single goal.
The 32-year-old Icardi, on the other hand, has participated in 14 matches in the Turkish Super Lig this season, managing to score seven goals. This achievement has heightened AC Milan's interest in pursuing the transfer.
