Xavi Simons explains why he chose Tottenham

Tottenham's attacking midfielder Xavi Simons explained the reasons behind his decision. The Spurs acquired the Dutch footballer from Germany's RB Leipzig at the end of August for 65 million euros.

"The club presented a very interesting project. Our team has many talented young players — that was the most inspiring factor for me.

I want to win trophies and compete for victories in all competitions. I believe moving to Tottenham was the right decision," the 22-year-old footballer's words were quoted by the English press.
