Issues of the Russian National Team Analyzed

Former "Spartak" striker and current member of the coaching staff for the Russian national team, Nikolay Pisaryov, reflected on the recent friendly matches against the national teams of Chile and Peru. According to Pisaryov, these games revealed several issues within the team.

During a broadcast on the "Match Premier" television channel, he stated: "We thank the RFU for arranging these two opponents. They helped uncover numerous problems.

The more of these kinds of games we have, the better," he said. As a reminder, the match between the national teams of Russia and Peru ended in a 1-1 draw.

Additionally, the Russian national team suffered a 0-2 defeat in a sparring match against Peru. It is worth noting that Russia has been banned from participating in international tournaments since February 2022.
