AC Milan midfielder Luka Modric has expressed hope for the Italian national team to reach the final stage of the 2026 FIFA World Cup. The "Squadra Azzurra" has secured a spot in the play-off round.
"If the 'Squadra Azzurra' misses out on this World Cup as well, it would be a true tragedy. We hope the Italian national team successfully navigates the play-offs and secures a place in the World Cup.
