
The next training camp of the Uzbekistan national football team will begin on December 14 in the city of Bukhara. As part of this camp, the national team will play two international friendly matches against the Russian national team. The matches are scheduled for December 19 and 21 at the “Universal” sports complex in Bukhara, with both games starting at 5:00 PM.
These friendly matches will serve as an important test for the national team, providing the coaching staff with an opportunity to evaluate the squad’s capabilities, review new candidates, and improve team coordination.
The goalkeepers called up for the camp include representatives from the “Oil Star” and BMB clubs. Specifically, Shavkat Ibragimov (“Oil Star”), Abbos Olmasbekov (BMB), and Abbos Elmurodov (BMB) have been invited to guard the team’s goal.
The defense line will feature a mix of experienced and young players. Ilhomjon Hamroyev (“Oil Star”), Anaskhon Rakhmatov (“Nasaf”), and Sirojiddin Shokirov (“Surkhon”) will take part in the camp.
On the wings, players from OKMK, “Bunyodkor,” and “Oil Star” are expected to perform. Shaxram Fakhriddinov, Khusanxon Ghaniyev, Khayrulla Solikhov, and Samariddin Berkinov are anticipated to contribute their speed and active play to the team.
For the offensive wing positions, Elbek Tolkinov, Abror Akhmedzyanov, Akbar Usmonov, Ikhtiyor Ropiyev, Eldor Nigmatov, and Burkhoniddin Sodikov have been called up. In the central forward positions, BMB players Muzaffar Akhadjonov and Davlat Ibragimov are tasked with creating threats to the opponent’s goal.
