Luca Marelli Claims Pulisic's Goal Should Have Stood

In Italy's Serie A, AC Milan dropped points again. Stefano Pioli's team recorded a 2-2 draw against Sassuolo.

During the match, Milan led 2-1 and scored two more goals, but both were disallowed. Former Italian referee Luca Marelli believes that at least one of the disallowed goals should have been allowed.

According to him, the goal scored by Christian Pulisic was invalidated due to Ruben Loftus-Cheek committing a foul in the attack, with VAR not intervening in the situation. Marelli noted that while Loftus-Cheek placed his hands on his opponent's waist, he did not push him, arguing that disallowing the goal in such a case was not justified.

AC Milan will face Verona in their next match.
