
In a closely contested match during Round 15 of Serie A held in Genoa, "Genoa" faced off against "Inter," where the Milan side secured a 2-1 victory. In the 6th minute, Yann-Aurel Bisseck broke in from the right flank into the penalty area and opened the scoring with a low shot into the near corner.
"Genoa" quickly tried to respond: Petar Sučić sent a cross into the penalty area from the right, and Francesco Esposito passed the ball to Lautaro Martínez. However, the striker's shot was saved by the goalkeeper, albeit with difficulty. In the 38th minute, "Inter" extended their lead.
Sučić received a pass from Carlos Augusto on the left and then laid it off to Martínez. The Argentine forward feinted past his opponent and placed a precise shot into the right side of the goal, making it 0-2.
In the second half, "Genoa" brought some intrigue back into the game. In the 68th minute, Vitinha broke in from the left wing into the penalty area, dribbled past the goalkeeper, and scored with an accurate finish to reduce the deficit to 1-2.
Although the hosts intensified their pressure in the remaining minutes, "Inter" managed to preserve their lead. Following this victory, "Inter" climbed to the top of the Serie A standings with 33 points.
