Marseille President Discusses Plans Following Victory Over Monaco

Marseille club president Pablo Longoria shared his thoughts on the team's plans ahead of the winter transfer window. It should be noted that in the 16th round of the French Ligue 1, Marseille defeated Monaco, featuring Aleksandr Golovin, 1-0 at home.

Longoria emphasized that it is time to make some adjustments to the squad. However, this does not necessarily mean searching for new players.

According to him, shortcomings within the team’s current lineup need to be addressed. He also highlighted that the club's management is primarily hoping for the return of injured players to the squad.

After 16 rounds, Marseille is in third place in the standings with 32 points. The team is ahead of Lille based on additional criteria.
