
Former midfielder of Italy's AC Milan, Bruno Baveni, passed away at the age of 85. He was known for his remarkable performances with the Milan side during the 1960s.
Baveni became an Italian champion with AC Milan in 1968. In 1969, he won the European Champions Cup, after Milan secured a commanding victory in the final against Ajax, led by Johan Cruyff, who were emerging as a formidable force at the time.
Additionally, he also won the UEFA Cup Winners' Cup with AC Milan. Bruno Baveni concluded his football career in 1974.
He passed away just two days before what would have been his 86th birthday on December 15. Read “Zamin” on Telegram!
