Raphinha Equals Cruyff's Goal Record for Barcelona

In the 16th round of Spain's La Liga, Barcelona secured another victory. The team's success was driven by a double from the captain, Raphinha.

These two goals enabled the Brazilian player to match the record of one of the club's legends, Johan Cruyff. Cruyff played for Barcelona in the 1970s and returned to the club as head coach a decade later.

The Dutch football legend's legacy as a player includes 60 goals in 180 matches. Now, Raphinha has exactly the same tally—60 goals.

However, Raphinha achieved this milestone in 157 matches, while Cruyff required 180 games. Nonetheless, Cruyff's coaching legacy is highlighted as the foundation of Barcelona's current attacking style: he shaped the attacking philosophy that later became a symbol of the Catalan club, a direction that remains intact to this day.
