Xabi Alonso Shares Thoughts After Victory Over Alaves


The head coach of Real Madrid, Xabi Alonso, shared his thoughts following a 2-1 victory against Alaves in a La Liga match. In the match, the Royal Club secured three points thanks to goals by Kylian Mbappe and Rodrygo, scored in the 24th and 76th minutes respectively.

For the hosts, the only goal was netted by Carlos Vicente in the 68th minute. According to Alonso, the game was highly competitive.

"After the first goal, controlling the ball became difficult, but we started the second half well. Playing on this pitch is not easy, and Alaves is a tough opponent.

The team showed character, and we are heading home satisfied," the coach said. With this victory, Real Madrid has reduced the gap to four points behind league leaders Barcelona in the standings.
