Wayne Rooney Doubts Aston Villa's Chances of Becoming Champions


Former England national team striker Wayne Rooney shared his thoughts on Aston Villa's chances in the championship race. Speaking on the BBC Podcast, Rooney stated: "We have to look at the reality.

Unai Emery is doing an incredible job, even though they had a poor start to the season. They have turned things around now, but they won't surpass Manchester City or Arsenal."

After 16 rounds in the Premier League, Aston Villa is in third place with 33 points. The team is just three points behind leaders Arsenal.

England's reigning champion is Liverpool.
