AC Milan will not release Mike Maignan in winter

French goalkeeper Mike Maignan will not leave AC Milan during the winter transfer window, according to Gazzetta dello Sport.

The source reports that AC Milan does not plan to let Maignan go even if offers come in this winter. Furthermore, the Rossoneri do not intend to delay negotiations for extending the player’s contract beyond spring, as the club wants a final decision from Maignan by the end of February.

Maignan has been part of AC Milan since 2021. This season, he has participated in 17 matches across all competitions, conceding 14 goals and keeping 8 clean sheets.

The 30-year-old goalkeeper’s current contract with AC Milan runs until June 2026. Transfermarkt experts estimate the French footballer’s market value at 25 million euros.
