
Earlier, it was reported that the Milan club initiated efforts in 2024 to promote the image of the Democratic Republic of Congo, the largest country in Africa, as part of a new marketing campaign. Discussions to expand this partnership were held over the past weekend.
During the match against Sassuolo, a delegation attended as guests at the San Siro stadium. The delegation included the Minister of Tourism, Didier Mazenga Mukanzu, and the Congolese Ambassador to Italy, Paul-Emile Tshinga Ahuka.
According to some estimates, the agreement could bring Milan up to 14 million euros annually. VIP guests were treated to dishes characteristic of Congolese cuisine.
