Inter halts negotiations with defender de Vrij

The future of Inter Milan's central defender Stefan de Vrij remains uncertain. The Dutch footballer's current contract will expire at the end of this season.

According to well-known insider Nicolo Schira, negotiations between the parties have not yielded positive results, and discussions have been put on hold for the time being. As a result, there is a high probability that de Vrij will leave the team next summer.

In February, Stefan de Vrij will turn 34 years old. The experienced central defender has appeared in seven matches for the "Nerazzurri" this season, six of which saw Cristian Chivu fielding him in the starting lineup.
