Messi Names Best Goalkeeper of 2025


At the FIFA The Best ceremony held in Qatar, the results of the vote for the Best Goalkeeper of 2025 were announced. The survey involved Argentinian forward and eight-time Ballon d'Or winner Lionel Messi.

Messi placed Italy's national team and Manchester City goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma first. The second spot went to Argentinian Emiliano Martinez (Aston Villa).

The third position was awarded to Belgian goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois from Real Madrid. It should be noted that Donnarumma was also recognized as the Best Goalkeeper last year.
