Flamengo Director Says Vinicius Junior's Return Is Inevitable

Flamengo's technical director José Boto considers it inevitable that Vinícius Júnior will return to his home club in the future. The Brazilian forward began his career with the "Red and Blacks" and transferred to Real Madrid in 2018.

"Everyone who leaves Flamengo preserves a lifelong love and affection for this place. There will come a time when Vinícius will want to return to the club," Boto told ESPN.

Vinícius Júnior's current contract with Real Madrid runs until mid-2027. According to rumors, the "Los Blancos" have not yet reached an agreement on the terms of a new deal with the 25-year-old player, leaving his future uncertain.
