
Marseille club president Pablo Longoria has commented on the contract details regarding forward Mason Greenwood. Against the backdrop of ongoing rumors linking the 24-year-old player to more prominent clubs, Longoria clarified which rights Marseille holds over the player.
According to Longoria, the club owns 60% of Greenwood's economic rights and 100% of his sporting rights. If Marseille qualifies for the Champions League, the economic stake could increase to 65%.
He expressed satisfaction with the player's development, noting that head coach Roberto De Zerbi has been working very effectively with Greenwood. During the 2025/2026 season, Greenwood has scored 14 goals and delivered 4 assists in 21 matches.
