PSG and Flamengo Fail to Determine Winner in 90 Minutes of Final

On Wednesday evening, Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) and Flamengo faced off in the Intercontinental Cup final. As the winner could not be determined during regular time, the match proceeded to extra time.

In the first half, Khvicha Kvaratskhelia opened the scoring for the French team. After the break, Flamengo's player, Jorginho, converted a penalty against goalkeeper Matvey Safonov to level the score.

At the end of the second half, the referee blew the final whistle with the score tied at 1-1, sending the game into extra time. The first part of the 15-minute two-session extra time was already underway.
