Wolfsburg Appoints Daniel Bauer as Head Coach


43-year-old specialist Daniel Bauer has been officially appointed as the head coach of Wolfsburg. This was reported by the club's press service.

The employment contract between the parties is set to run until mid-2027. Since November, Bauer has been serving as the interim head coach of the "Wolves" following Paul Simonis's resignation.

"I am grateful to the club for their trust. We have done good work over the past weeks.

We need to continue moving forward," said the coach. After 15 rounds in the Bundesliga, Wolfsburg has earned 15 points and is currently in 14th place in the tournament standings.

The team will play its next match on January 11 against Bayern Munich at the Allianz Arena.
