Pisa Avoids Defeat Against Cagliari

In the 16th round of Serie A, Cagliari and Pisa, both positioned in the lower part of the standings, faced each other. The match was contested with equal intensity, keeping fans on edge until the very end.

At the end of the first half, in the 45th minute, Matteo Tramoni calmly converted a penalty kick into the center of the goal, opening the score — 0-1. In the 59th minute, a pass from Gabriele Zappa was clinically finished by Michael Folorunsho, leveling the match — 1-1.

Twelve minutes later, Gianluca Gaetano set up Semih Kilicsoy in a favorable position, helping the visitors regain the lead — 2-1. Towards the end of the game, Cagliari failed to hold their advantage during a counterattack: Stefano Moreo, assisted by Mehdi Leris, scored in the 89th minute, securing a draw for Pisa — 2-2.

Following this result, Cagliari now occupies 15th place with 15 points, while Pisa remains second from the bottom in the standings with 11 points.
