Osasuna reaches agreement with Atletico defender Xavi Galan


Osasuna has reached an agreement with Atletico Madrid defender Xavi Galan. According to Fabrizio Romano, the transfer will cost €500,000, with the addition of an equal amount in bonuses.

The 31-year-old Spanish footballer's market value is €3.5 million. His contract with the Madrid club is set to expire on June 30, 2026, after which he will become a free agent.

In the 2025/2026 season, Galan appeared in 10 matches across all competitions, including the FIFA Club World Cup, recording one assist. Galan joined Atletico from Real Sociedad in the summer of 2024, but he struggled to secure his position within the "Rojiblancos" squad.
