Inter expected to sign Valinchich in January

Christian Chivu, head coach of Inter Milan, reportedly intends to sign a player during the January transfer window, according to renowned Italian journalist Gianluca Di Marzio. Di Marzio stated that Chivu is looking to strengthen the squad in light of Dumfries' injury and is in need of a right-wing defender.

The name Maurice Valinchich has frequently come up in this context. It is reported that Chivu has a strong interest in this particular player.

Currently, Valinchich plays for Dinamo Zagreb and signed a long-term contract with the club earlier this summer. At present, Inter tops the standings in the Italian Serie A tournament.
