La Liga giant Atletico refuse to sign Dovbyk

Roma striker Artem Dovbyk could change clubs in the winter transfer window. The 28-year-old has been unable to secure a regular place in the Giallorossi’s starting XI under Gian Piero Gasperini, so his agents are looking for a new team for the forward. According to journalist Matteo Moretto, the player was offered to Madrid’s Atletico, but the “Rojiblancos” turned it down. Artem Dovbyk could have joined Atletico in the summer of 2024 as well, when he was leaving Girona, but he chose Roma instead. Transfermarkt values the 2023/24 La Liga top scorer at €20 million.
