Juventus head coach Luciano Spalletti commented on his team’s performance after a 2–0 Serie A win over Pisa, euro-football.ru reports.reports.
The Turin side opened the scoring only in the 73rd minute: an own goal by the opponent helped the visitors. In the 92nd minute, Kenan Yildiz scored the second to seal all three points.
According to Spalletti, Juventus moved far too slowly on the pitch. He stressed that the opening and final 6–7 minutes of the second half were poor, Pisa created several dangerous chances, and his team escaped largely thanks to luck. Overall, the coach noted that the team improved after the break, showed more creativity in attack and found open spaces in the box more often, meaning the goal was coming, but added that they still need to do better.
Juventus are currently third in the Serie A standings, but many rivals have one or two games in hand.
