Guardiola refused to discuss Semenyo transfer

Manchester City head coach Josep Guardiola did not give a clear answer to a question about a potential transfer of Bournemouth winger Antoine Semenyo. This was reported by euro-football.rureports.

According to reports that emerged earlier this week, the Citizens have managed to convince the Cherries’ star and the deal is expected to be finalized soon. However, on Saturday after City’s match against Nottingham Forest, when journalists asked about the agreement, the Spanish coach shut the topic down.

“Semenyo? Next question, please,” Guardiola said.

Manchester City won the match 2–1, with goals from Tijjani Reijnders and Rayan Cherki. After 18 rounds, the team sits second in the Premier League table, two points behind Arsenal.
