Veteran Italian coach Fabio Capello analyzed Inter’s attacking efficiency this season. The Milan side have scored 35 goals, well ahead of their closest chasers AC Milan (27). However, Capello believes the main issue is not the number of goals, but how they are scored and against whom. This was reported by euro-football.rureports.
The expert noted that championships are usually won by the team that best maintains the balance between goals scored and conceded. Inter’s 35 goals are an excellent figure, and 14 conceded is not bad either. But Capello pointed to the “distribution” of the goals as the problem: in his view, Inter score a lot against outsiders, yet often stumble in matches against strong opponents.
