Lazio left-back Nuno Tavares could continue his career at Madrid’s Atletico. This was reported by euro-football.rureports.

According to journalist Florian Plettenberg, representatives of the “Rojiblancos” have requested information on the terms of a potential transfer. For now, it is only interest, and no concrete negotiations have begun.

In the summer of 2025, Lazio signed Tavares permanently from London’s Arsenal for €5 million. Prior to that, the Portuguese player had been on loan with the Rome club. According to Transfermarkt, the 25-year-old is valued at €15 million, and his current contract runs until 2029.
