Inter move ahead of Barcelona in race for Cancelo

Al-Hilal right-back João Cancelo is on the verge of continuing his career at AC Milan’s Inter. This is reported by euro-football.rureports.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, the clubs have agreed on the loan terms: Al-Hilal will cover the main part of the Portuguese player’s wages until the end of the season — €4.5 million. The Nerazzurri will pay €3 million for six months. As a result, the Italian giant has edged out Barcelona in the pursuit of the 31-year-old defender.

Now the deal’s completion depends on Cancelo’s own decision — he must agree to return to Italy. Recall that João has previously played for Inter and also featured for another Serie A club, Juventus.
