Arteta comments on Maresca sacking at Chelsea

After Chelsea officially announced that it had ended its cooperation with head coach Enzo Maresca, Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta shared his reaction.

Arteta said he highly values Maresca’s work and personal qualities, backing his time at Chelsea. “I only wish him luck. I really like Enzo as a professional and as a person, and he did a great job at "Chelsea",” he said.

On January 1, Chelsea officially announced the termination of Maresca’s contract. New opportunities are expected to emerge for him.

Chelsea are currently 5th in the Premier League with 30 points after 19 matches. Arsenal top the table with 45 points.
