Inter defender Acerbi could return to Inzaghi’s team

Inter centre-back Francesco Acerbi has come under the radar of Saudi club Al Hilal. This was reported by euro-football.rureports.

The Riyadh club had already considered the experienced Italian footballer in the summer. According to insider Florian Plettenberg, the issue is back on the agenda and the transfer could take place in January. Talks between the parties have already begun.

Al Hilal are coached by Simone Inzaghi — he knows Acerbi very well from their time together at Inter. The 37-year-old centre-back’s contract with the Nerazzurri expires at the end of the current season, and Transfermarkt values him at €2.5 million.
