Inter Milan centre-back Alessandro Bastoni remains one of the top-priority names on Barcelona’s transfer shortlist. This is reported by euro-football.rureports.
Although both clubs are also interested in Al-Hilal right-back João Cancelo, the Catalans’ main task is to strengthen the heart of the defence. According to journalist Gianluigi Longari, Barcelona will find it difficult to seriously compete with the Nerazzurri for the Portuguese player in January, but will try to lure Bastoni in the summer. Within the club there is a dream of bringing in the Italian centre-back and an intention to save funds for an expensive transfer.
Interest in Bastoni has also been linked to Liverpool. According to Transfermarkt, the 26-year-old is valued at €80 million.
