In the 38th minute, the visitors responded: Nikola Leali caught a lofted ball, but during a tussle in the penalty area Mehdi Leri redirected it into the net. Leri also picked up an injury in the episode — 1:1.
After the draw, Genoa remain 17th in the standings, three points above the relegation zone. Pisa, meanwhile, are sharing 18th place with their rivals.
