Alonso believes in Vinicius and the Bernabeu will applaud again

Real Madrid head coach Xabi Alonso backed Vinicius Junior, who was booed by some fans during the La Liga Matchday 19 game against Betis. This was reported by euro-football.rureports.
The Spanish specialist stressed that the Brazilian winger is extremely important for the team and said he believes the mood in the stands will change over time.
“I think Vinicius has contributed a great deal to the team. He fought until the end, and I especially liked his first-half performance. Vinicius has always been, and will remain, a fundamentally important player for Real. I’m sure the Santiago Bernabeu will applaud him again,” Alonso said.
As a reminder, on January 4 Real thrashed Betis 5–1, but Vinicius did not register a goal or an assist in the match.
