In Matchday 18 of Italy’s Serie A, mid-table Torino visited relegation strugglers Verona and, as expected, collected three points with ease. This was reported by euro-football.ru.reports.
In the 10th minute, after a mistake in the hosts’ defense, Giovanni Simeone made the most of the chance to open the scoring — 0:1. Late on, Verona pushed forward and left gaps at the back, and Torino punished them twice on the break: Cesare Casadei scored in the 87th minute, and Aliou Njie struck in the 90th to make it a convincing win — 0:3.
As a result, Torino remain in the middle of the table, while Verona are among the teams battling to avoid last place.
