Manchester United head coach Ruben Amorim could step down due to disagreements with the club’s management. This was reported by euro-football.rureports.
On Sunday, the “Red Devils” drew 1–1 with Leeds. After the match, the Portuguese coach complained that he does not have enough influence over transfer matters and hinted that he is not receiving sufficient backing from the board. According to journalist Alex Crook, following these remarks Amorim’s future at Manchester United has come under serious question.
Earlier it was reported that Amorim expected the club to make a major signing at his request if a suitable target was found on the transfer market. However, for now the plans to strengthen the squad may fail to materialize.
