Guranko rates Goncharenko as a strong coach for Belarus

Former Belarus football star Sergey Guranko commented on the appointment of a new head coach for the national team. This was reported by euro-football.ru. reports .

On January 6, it was officially announced that Viktor Goncharenko will now take charge of the Belarus national team.

According to Guranko, Goncharenko is a strong specialist with experience at top clubs and will try to lead Belarus to the 2028 European Championship.

He also added that Goncharenko knows the specific features of Belarusian football well.

Recall that the 48-year-old specialist previously worked as head coach at Ural, Pari NN, Krasnodar, CSKA, Ufa and other clubs.
