Kalyachyov believes Goncharenko will strengthen Belarus national team

Former Belarus national team midfielder Timofey Kalyachyov, known for his performances for Rostov, assessed the appointment of a new head coach for the national side. After Spaniard Carlos Alos stepped down, he was replaced by local specialist Viktor Goncharenko. This was reported by euro-football.ru. reports .
"Perhaps Goncharenko will be able to achieve something with the national team. Viktor Mikhailovich is a good coach, he has many awards and vast experience. With him, the Belarus national team will become stronger," RB Sport quotes Kalyachyov as saying.
Goncharenko’s last job was with Pari NN from Nizhny Novgorod. With BATE he won the Belarusian championship six times, and with CSKA he twice took silver in the Russian league and won the OLIMPBET Super Cup.
Belarus are currently 99th in the FIFA rankings.
