Upamecano close to signing a new contract with Bayern

Bayern Munich centre-back Dayot Upamecano is very close to reaching an agreement on a new contract with the club. This is reported by euro-football.ru reports .

According to journalist Tobi Altscheffl, the parties are close to finalising the details of the deal. The new agreement is expected to include a €65 million release clause, which will come into effect from the summer of 2027. Earlier, it was said that the 27-year-old player himself insisted on having this clause.

Upamecano’s current contract with Bayern expires at the end of this season. The French defender has made 173 appearances for the Munich side, recording 6 goals and 10 assists.
