Juventus head coach Luciano Spalletti stressed that the team have made noticeable progress under his guidance. The specialist took charge of the Turin side in October 2025 after Igor Tudor was dismissed. This was reported by euro-football.ru reports .
According to Spalletti, since his first match in charge of Juventus—an away game in Cremona—the squad have moved forward in many areas, but there are still some aspects required by modern football that need work.
The coach specifically highlighted the issue of quickly winning back possession after losing the ball (pressing). In his view, regaining the ball swiftly not only boosts the team’s confidence, but also allows them to resume the attack immediately from where it stopped. Nevertheless, Spalletti noted that the team are generally on the right track and emphasized that it is more important to focus on the next task than to think about the final league position already.
At the moment, Juventus are fifth in the league with 36 points after 19 rounds. Leaders Inter have 43 points.
