Michael Carrick speaks for the first time after Manchester United appointment

Manchester United’s new head coach Michael Carrick gave a brief interview to the press after being appointed to his role at the club. This was reported by euro-football.ru reports .
On Tuesday, the club officially announced that the English specialist will take charge of the team on an interim basis until the end of the current season.
“To come back here and be part of the club where so many years of my life were spent is an incredible feeling. Now I need to focus on the job quickly. It’s a huge responsibility and a great honour for me. My task is to achieve the goals set for us. I’m fully committed and I want to help the club move forward,” UtdDistrict quoted Carrick as saying.
It is worth noting that Michael Carrick played for Manchester United from 2006 to 2018, and after retiring he spent another three years working on the coaching staff.
