Under Arbeloa, Real will play attacking football and press high

Real Madrid have made a head-coach change: Álvaro Arbeloa has replaced Xabi Alonso. The previous coach was dismissed after a 2–3 defeat to Barcelona in the Spanish Super Cup final. In the upcoming cup match against Albacete, the “Los Blancos” will now be led by Arbeloa. This was reported by euro-football.ru reports .
According to Diario AS, the new coach favors a 4-3-3 system and places special emphasis on a holding midfielder with a clearly defined role who can carry the ball forward. The 42-year-old specialist is also known for liking quick attacks and high-intensity pressing.
Before being appointed Real Madrid head coach, Arbeloa managed the club’s second team, and prior to that he worked in the Madrid side’s youth academy.
