The Nerazzurri will pay €2.5 million for the 18-year-old Croatian, with a further €2 million potentially added in bonuses. Inter have beaten RB Salzburg in the race for the transfer — it is said the club’s good relationship with the player’s agent also played an important role.
Yakirovich has not yet featured for Dinamo’s first team this season: he has often been on the bench or left out of the squad. Nevertheless, he has made three appearances for the Zagreb club’s youth team during the season.
