Albanian defender Amir Rrahmani has become one of the main pillars of Napoli’s defence in recent years. That is why the club’s management are working on extending the player’s current deal. This is reported by euro-football.ru reports .
The current contract runs until the summer of 2027. According to Tuttomercatoweb, the new agreement will not be long-term: the plan is to extend it by one year and add an option that could keep it in force until 2029 — when Rrahmani will turn 35.
The source also mentions the defender’s expected salary: it is expected to be around €4 million per season.
As a reminder, Napoli are currently third in the Serie A standings.
