Former Belarus national team striker Vitaliy Kutuzov recalled that during his time at Milan he asked Paolo Maldini for help connecting to the internet. This was reported by euro-football.ru reports .
Kutuzov tried to get online to stay in touch with his homeland, but back then it was not easy. Other players advised him to turn to Maldini, who understood technical matters better than anyone.
“Paolo went to the club office, plugged in some kind of disk drive, spent three hours fiddling with it, barely even took a break. This is the captain of Milan and the Italy national team, and he spent three hours on me,” Kutuzov was quoted as saying by Chempionat.
According to Kutuzov, in that era’s Milan squad almost every player could be a role model: he played alongside Gennaro Gattuso, Andrea Pirlo and other stars.
