After the latest round of the English Premier League, Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola, answering journalists' questions, gave an interesting and humorous comment about striker Erling Haaland.
As is known, in the 30th round of the English Premier League, City played away against West Ham. The exciting and intense match ended in a 1-1 draw. In the final minutes of the match, Norwegian striker Erling Haaland found himself in an awkward position on the field.
It turned out that the footballer felt discomfort in the groin - that is, in the area between the abdomen and thighs. Therefore, after the meeting, journalists asked Josep Guardiola for a comment on the situation.
The Catalan specialist, however, took the situation not seriously, but with humor. Answering the question, he laughed and said:
"I hope his wife will be pleased this evening," Guardiola said jokingly.
This response caused laughter among the journalists at the press conference. At the same time, the coach indicated that this situation is not a serious injury.
Currently, Manchester City fans are hoping that Erling Haaland, one of the team's top scorers, will soon fully recover and return to the field in the upcoming matches.
