Amanda Staveley targets "Tottenham"

Amanda Staveley, a former shareholder and director at "Newcastle", is reportedly interested in buying "Tottenham" as the London club struggles through a difficult Premier League season. According to TEAMtalk, the current problems at "Tottenham" could create an opportunity for Staveley to approach the Lewis family with an offer at a more attractive price.
Staveley is well known for helping Saudi Arabia’s Public Investment Fund complete the takeover of "Newcastle". In return for her role in that deal, she received a 10 percent stake in the club and took up a director’s position. However, in the summer of 2024, she cut all ties with "Newcastle", and since then there has been constant speculation about which club she might target next for investment.
The report also says Staveley could try to bring Eddie Howe to "Tottenham" if she succeeds in buying the club. She built a strong working relationship with Howe during their time together at "Newcastle", and he is seen as one of the key names she would like to install as head coach. For now, the idea remains at the level of speculation, but it adds another intriguing layer to the uncertainty surrounding "Tottenham".
